timey Long forgotten recipe :
Vanilla
WAFER cake
1
(12 oz.) box vanilla wafers
6
eggs
2
sticks oleo, melted (margarine)
2
cups sugar
½
cup milk
½
cup chopped pecans
1
small can coconut
Crumble
vanilla wafers to resemble flour, (food processor or Zip top bag with
a rolling pin works well) Place in a large mixing bowl, add sugar,
eggs, milk, pecans and coconut. Stir together, add oleo and stir
well. Pour into a bundt pan or a tube pan. Bake at 350* until set.
About 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the
cake comes out clean.

GRANDMOTHER WHO GAVE IT TO ME IN 1972. I AM NOT SURE HOW MY
GREAT-GRANDMOTHER GOT THE RECIPE, ALTHOUGH SHE WAS KNOWN TO
MAKE UP HER OWN RECIPES FROM TIME TO TIME .
